We are pleased to announce the release of SmartTime v1.2. It features increased stability, quicker start time, and the ability to backup your data and restore it to SmartTime v1.3 and above.

Please note: This will be the LAST free version of SmartTime.  The next version, v1.3, will retail for $9.99. (Hey, that's just the price of a few ring-tones!) It will contain the same feature set as 1.2 except that you will be able to backup and restore your data, as well as share that dataset with any other SmartTime users.

Why upgrade to v1.3, you may ask?  First, you can back up and restore your data.  And because once you have purchased v1.3, all susequent upgrades of this consumer version will be free.  For example, Version 2, which we hope to release before the end of this month, will retail for $14.99.  Your upgrade would be free.  It will include these new features: iPhone call integration, Google Calendar synchronization, Pop-up SMS reminders for appointments, and Recurring events. So you save $5 by purchasing now.

By the way, if you sort by "Most Popular," you will see that in just over one short month, SmartTime has become the #2 task management application on the App Store. Not bad for a little application that doesn't have a 'big brother' desktop version - yet!
